Dear WCLI Attendees,
As many of you are aware, the opening date of Vespera on Ocean, our venue for the 37th annual West Coast Landmen’s Institute, is going to surpass our scheduled date for the Institute. As per our agreement with Marriott, they have secured a sister hotel, Springhill Suites in Atascadero, California. All reservations that were booked through the room block will be automatically transferred to the new hotel. Your confirmation number will remain the same. Marriott is working in tandem with the new venue to insure that our transition is seamless.
The annual golf tournament will still be held at Cypress Ridge. We have moved our reception Wednesday night to start later (6:30) so that our golfers have time to arrive at the hotel and check in.
Our Thursday night dinner is set, as planned, at Giuseppe’s Cucina Italiana, and transportation will be provided. Springhill Suites opened in 2015. All rooms are suites and the cost has been amended to $139/night, including reservations for the Tuesday before and Friday thru Sunday after the Institute.
Our Wednesday night reception is to take place on their outdoor patio, with a view of the vineyards. They have an indoor/outdoor bar service that will be open for our reception. They have also extended their bar hours to accommodate our group. We are working diligently to make this year’s WCLI a great one, and hope that if you have any questions or concerns, you will reach out to us.
